Bethel Lodge 789 was warranted (authorized by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania in 1960. There were 46 warrant members in that first year who met in the social hall of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Lower Burrell (hence the name). Meetings continued there for 2 years when the present property at 118 Allan St was purchased, remodeled by the members and made our permanent home.
Our present membership of 265 includes men from all walks of life, mostly family men, of good reputation and of sound morals.
Bethel lodge is a Masonic lodge located in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and interests. Good fellowship, good food and good drinks are a fundamental nature of the lodge.
